How to modify model number for mID series
The Model number is divided into seven parts: S, B, D, T, P, U, and M. M occupies 16 digits, and the others occupy 8 digits. For details, please refer to the attached table below:

How to modify model number
Method1:
Modify model number via server.growatt.com
Procedures
1. Access server.growatt.com
2. Select “Inverter setting”
3. Caclulate value you need to modify
4. Modify register address value
procedure 2:
password: growatt+today’s date like growatt20220720
Before you modify the value, you had better read the corresponding register address
Troubleshooting:
If you find that after you set correct value on these register address, but there is no change on model number. You can make inverter stop running. then reset it. Definitely ,it can be modified.
For example,
Modify power segment as 40000, you need to set 400 on 121 register address
Firstly, you can set register 0 as 0
Register 0 is used to switch on inverter or switch off inverter , 0 is off, 1 is on.
Secondly, you can contine setting correct value on 121 register address.
