SPF 6000 ES PLUS Introduction

SPF 6000 ES PLUS Introduction

SPF 6000 ES PLUS is more advanced than SPF 5000ES series

SPF 6000 ES PLUS Datasheet

Feature:

MAX PV Array Open Circuit Voltage 500V

MPPT Tracker Number 2

MAX PV Array Power 8000W

SPF 6000 ES PLUS Internal Board
SPF 6000 ES PLUS Mainboard

SPF 6000 ES PLUS has cancelled KA3525 chip ( It is used to drive DC-DC Circuit on traditional SPF 3500-5000ES ), DSP chip ( 280049 chip on control board of SPF 6000ES PLUS has taken over the function ) , Other circuit is almost same with traditional SPF 3500-5000ES

SPF 6000 ES PLUS Control Board

SPF 6000 ES Plus adopts 280049 Chip from TI company in America, in near future, we will change it into 280037 Chip, it is cheaper and more advanced.

SPF 6000 ES PLUS MPPT Board

2 Independent MPPT Circuits,

Each MPPT bear MAX 16 A current, Even though you connect more PV strings into MPPT port, what if PV input current has exceeded 16A, and PV input voltage doesn’t exceed 500V, you don’t need to worry about that it will damage the MPPT board, Just excess energy will be wasted.

4000W PV input at most. For each MPPT

Diode on MPPT board can bear 60A current

PV SPS uses BUS voltage produced by MPPT board and convert it into smaller DC voltage almost 50V, then it is imported to main SPS on mainboard.

hi, I run SPF 5000 ES 02.2023 neu firmware. is it possible to operate SPF 6000 es plus as a master in a parallel single phase carriage with spf 5000 es? will they communicate or cooperate with each other? I am counting on the production of a communication cable. thank you for answer.

  2. Hello, Amos. wonderful site.
you said the excess current on the MPPT will be wasted but you also said max 4000w. Just want to clarify does this mean i can overpanel each MPPT for more even power generation. morning and evening with 2 strings of on each MPPT so long as the voltage does not exceed 500V?

Voc 38.3, isc 14.15, Pmax 425wp in 7s2p (5950w) on each string? isc on each MPPt will be 28.3 voc 268v.

    1. Yes, you can do that, but excess energy will be wasted.

2 Independent MPPT Circuits, each MPPT can’t exceed 500V for this model.

  3. one more question if you dont mind, it doesnt come with a battery temperature sensor, Is there a way to achieve battery temperature compensation for flooded lead acid batteries?
